Second intergenerational dialogue of the Madrid-born and adopted (respectively) Javier Piñango and David Area, following the usual line of work in their collaborations: simple and pure improvisation without mixing or postproduction.

After their first album "Extractos de una improvisación", "Drôle de guerre" presents a new release characterized by a dedication to synthesis even more pronounced than in its predecessor. The presence of the Korg synthesizers in their classic (MS-20) and modern (Volca series) versions configures the timbre of the 7 themes of this work that contains instantaneous compositions from revised electroacoustics to industrial aggressiveness through dark environmental passages.

"Drôle de guerre" presents, as its name suggests, an "absurd war" between the two musicians that, as could not be otherwise, ends in a tie.
